“We are writing this letter on behalf of Mr. Jack Whealan, who was the General Contractor of the addition we built onto our house. We met and discussed our project with Mr. Whealan, after having talked with numerous contractors. We felt he was very knowledgeable and capable, and we felt he would do the job well.
Our project began on schedule and the entire project ran on schedule, which pleased us immensely. Mr. Whealan and the subcontractors, who he hired, were always exceptionally profession and the quality of their workmanship was superb. The words that best describe Mr. Whealan as an individual and a professional are conscientious, meticulous, and honest. One of the key aspects of a successful project is good communication between the contractor and the client, as well as good communication between the contractor, architect and town inspectors. By having good communication skills, everyone's expectations are met. Mr. Whealan's communication skills are excellent. He patiently listened to our needs and wants, and we were so pleased with the final results of the construction. The house is beautiful and we love it.
Before we started this construction project, we had heard from many people to ‘expect the unexpected’ and ‘things never go as planned’. Well, having had Mr. Jack Whealan as our contractor, we can positively state that we never experienced any difficulties during the construction project. He took pride in the work he did and it was done beautifully. I would highly, and without reservation, recommend him as a General Contractor.”
